Someone forgot to tell Vollebak that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Good. Instead of kowtowing to that dusty idiom, the innovative London-based outdoor brand has once again developed a new, bar-raising garment. Introducing the Vollebak Mountain Shirt.

For this shirt, the brand wanted to combine classic materials with features found in contemporary performance wear – like sweat wicking, breathability, a stretchy fit, and water-resistance. To do that, they developed a unique cotton and elastane fabric with the help of the Swiss textile company Schoeller. The resulting product fits and feels like a classic cotton shirt while it beats back water with a 3XDRY and fights stench with an antimicrobial treatment. To top off these features of the fabric, Vollebak did things like cut pit-vents under the arms, and include a pair of angles zippered pockets for storing gear. You can pick this next-level shirt up in either Atlas Grey, Himalayan Pink, or Alpine Green.

Purchase: $290
