Few motorcycle brands out there have as much military heritage attached to their name as Royal Enfield. Which is probably why the brand is now slated to release a tribute to their militaristic history with the limited edition Classic 500 Pegasus Edition.

Based off the Flying Fleas of World War II, this Pegasus draws notable inspiration from the high-flying 125cc motorcycles that were dropped via parachute to troops located behind enemy lines – hence the name “Flying Flea.” It looks to host a single cylinder four-stroke engine compete with a five-speed transmission and electronic fuel injection. Externally, two WW2-era inspired saddle bags serve as throwback panniers for the daily commute while its olive and brown military colorway and stenciled serial numbers add a touch of nostalgia to the sled. Limited to 1,000 editions worldwide with 250 reserved for India.
