It’s safe to say that pretty much everything that Ferrari produces is special in one way or another. That being said, there are some cars that they’ve produced that really shine bright as road flares. The newest release from their Special Projects division, the SP38, is one such vehicle.

Based on the chassis and running gear of a 488 GTB (though the resemblance is passing, at best, with the extensive alterations), a lot the inspiration behind this one-off build is actually taken from another famous Prancing Horse – the F40. Specifically, the similarities can be seen in the custom carbon fiber engine cover and rear wing. And the changes aren’t just on the outside either – the cabin features a wide array of bespoke accents and additions, as well. Unfortunately, this gorgeous hypercar is already spoken for – having been built for one of Ferrari’s “most dedicated customers.”
