Sometimes it pays to treat yourself to a little reward every now and again. Just ask Max Hazan from Hazan Motorworks, who decided to hook himself up for a change via a 2005 KTM 950 Supermoto. It’s a bit of a deviation from the iconic steampunk builds we’ve seen come out of his LA workshop, but nonetheless a beauty without a doubt.

Boasting 98 horses and a dry weight of just 421 pounds, Max certainly treated himself to a bike that’s reputable as both insanely fun and performance intensive. However, it needed a bit of assistance in the design. So, he went to work replacing the stock wheels with a set of Marchesinis from a CBR1000 and then went on to relocate the top shock to raise the rear by 2.5 inches. He also replaced the rear subframe with a fabricated load-bearing fuel cell that now also houses the electronics, crafted new bodywork from 6061 aluminum alloy and wired the ride for lights and signals making this track star completely street legal. Here’s to self-indulgence.
