There are a lot of different ways to start a fire while you’re out camping in the woods. You could be all manly about it and rub a pair of sticks together for a half hour or so, you could flick a lighter open, or you could strike one of those fire starter sticks across a box. So long as the Trailblazer Fire Starter Sticks are available, we’ll always go with the latter option.

Essentially a miniature starter log and match all in one, these are intended for getting roaring fires going at home, at the grill, or out at the campsite. All one needs to do is pull one out of the box, strike it along the side, and toss it into the fire-pit. Each stick will burn for up to 10 minutes, ensuring you catch whatever fuel you’ve laid out for the event. Made from just paraffin wax and wood chips, these fire starters won’t give your food a weird taste or pollute your campfire with harmful chemicals. One box contains 40 starters.

Purchase: $6
