When working on a DIY project – be it in the garage, yard, or in the house – few things are quite as annoying as having to constantly swap out the tools you’re using. Luckily, the folks at Kusonkey have come up with a solution in their auto-adjusting Universal Socket.
Clever and simple, this tool can completely replace your basic set of socket bits, as it can auto-adjust its size on the fly to suit the job. This is thanks to its clever construction, consisting of 54 hardened steel spring-loaded pins inside its steel housing that retract with pressure. The resulting pins “hug” the nut, bolt, or screw, making short work of even the most stripped hardware. All you have to do is attach it to your wrench or drill, press the Universal Socket against the pesky bolt that needs tightening or loosening, and twist. And the best part? The device will cost you just $10.
