The camping utensil might be the most overlooked outdoor tool- but that belies its importance. Unfortunately, it isn’t helped by the lack of innovation present in current options. But it looks like that’s all about to change, thanks chiefly to the creation of the Morsel Spork.
Created by a design duo out of Portland, Oregon known as Hadron Gear, this may actually be the most versatile all-in-one camping utensil ever built. It’s made from durable and flexible BPA-free food-grade materials – including a rubbery spatula-like edge that’s perfect for getting every bit of food out of the corners of tupperware or baggies. The fork end also features a sturdy cutting edge, so you won’t need a knife but for the toughest foods. It can even survive boiling water and trips through the dishwasher. It’s on Kickstarter now starting at $9, but will retail for $12 later.
