Varo COR Bat Training Weight

For a long time, the best way to add a bit of weight to your bat for warming up on deck or while training on off-days was by using ‘donuts’. These devices were seen as ‘good enough’ by those training to knock balls out of the park for years. Now that Varo’s COR bat is on the market, however, we doubt that’ll be the case for all that much longer.

This 20-ounce training tool more evenly distributes weight over the sweet spot of the bat. And thanks to the cushion-fit technology (essentially rubber-infused fins), it won’t leave any marks or scuffs on the baseball bat either. And as if all of that wasn’t quite enough, the air-diffusing perforations in the center of the weight make for a lighter body but an increased overall wind resistance. All things said, a great, American-made tool built for serious training.
