Tentsile UNA Tree Tent

One of our favorite trends in the outdoor gear industry over the past few years has been the proliferation of camping hammocks. They’re comfortable, functional, and make for some pretty unique campsite setups. Just take a look at Tentsile’s newly announced UNA tree tent and you’ll see what we mean.

Not quite a tent, but not exactly just a hammock either, the UNA offers up a comfortable place to lay your head for the night despite its lightweight overall package. The first in Tentsile’s line built to hold just a single person, this tent weighs in at a little over 6 pounds. While that doesn’t make it the lightest on the market – it certainly is light enough to easily throw in a backpacking pack for an overnight trip. Heading to a buggy section of the woods? No worries. An easy to install aluminum pole props up a mesh net that keeps mosquitos out while still allowing for sleepers to see starry sky. And if the weather turns sour? An easy to apply rainfly is included in the tent. Not bad, for a hammock. Look for this on March 18th.
