If you have any hope of keeping your EDC knife in working order over a long period of time, you’re going to have to perform some maintenance at some point. But, most knives are a pain to take apart and even more frustrating to put back together. CRKT’s Japanese folklore-inspired Raikiri, however, can be taken apart in seconds without tools.

Thanks to CRKT’s Ken Onion-designed Field Strip technology, cleaning and making minor repairs to this gorgeous blade is supremely simple. Not that you’ll have to do it often, what with its super durable cold-forged aluminum handle and 1.4116 SS blade. And if you’re wondering where this knife’s strange moniker comes from, designer Dew Hara out of Seki, Japan (the country’s knife-making mecca) named it after a blade of legend – one that is said to have cut a bolt of lightning in half. Get your hands on this lightning fast blade for $66.
