Having a truck that performs just as well off the beaten path as it does on the pavement is a pursuit that drives many people to great lengths in customizing their whip. As we have seen with most every major truck manufacturer, Toyota has just released their 2019 TRD Pro Series off-road trim package available for the Tacoma, 4Runner, and Tundra.

With the Toyota Racing Development Pro lineup entering its fifth year of production, Toyota continues to push their racing development team to improve the already capable series to the next level. For the new model year, the entire TRD Pro family will be receiving 2.5-inch aluminum bodied internal bypass Fox Racing Shox at each wheel for exceptional on and off-road handling. Updates to the skid plates provided additional protection to the engine and front suspension, a classy detail when taking a look under the trucks. The most striking feature is the Desert Air Intake snorkel added to front of the Tacoma which gasps for fresh, dirt free air above the windshield, unlike other breathing apparatus that allow motors to operate submerged underwater.
