Vanderhall Motor Works of Provo, Utah can attest to the joy of three-wheelin, because who needs an even number of wheels, right? Their newest offering, the all-electric Edison, stays true the ‘less is more’ attitude that make their autocycles as fun to drive as they are interesting to look at.

Building off of their petrol fueled lineup, the Edison is powered by twin electric motors that supply 180 hp to the front wheels, which is enough juice to get the 3-wheeler up to 60 mph in 4.0-seconds. The large capacity 30 kWh lithium ion battery holds enough charge to keep the Edison rippin the twisties for up to 200 miles. Vanderhall sticks with their timeless design aesthetic for a vintage appeal to the autocycle, crafting the nose in homage to early generation Formula 1 racers and opting for diamond stitched seat covers that keep styling true to the era. And just like the classic days of auto production, Vanderhall currently offers the Edison in any color you like, as long as it’s black.

Purchase: $34,950
