Brass is an interesting construction material, as it starts off with a gold sheen but, over time, acquires a unique patina reflexive of its surrounding environment. It’s also the star of the show in Taylor Stitch’s premier EDC folding blade, the Drop Point Knife.

But it isn’t just the gorgeous brass handle scales that make Taylor Stitch’s Drop Point Knife special – it’s also the rest of its construction and the attention to detail paid to every centimeter of the piece. For instance, the blade is crafted from 7Cr17Mov stainless steel, chosen for its corrosion resistance. The blade is also held in place with a subtle liner lock, which allows the knife’s form to remain clean while offering security during operation. And, of course, there’s the opposition of a stainless steel pocket clip and a brass thumb stud, tying together the dissonant parts of the whole. Measuring up at 7.25″ overall, this limited edition knife also comes with a 150 grit sharpening stone and a gorgeous presentation case. Pricing is set at $68.

Purchase: $68
