It takes a special breed of man to be a famous fighter pilot and motorcycle racer, that also goes on to establish one of the greatest motorcycle manufacturers of all time. Giovanni Revelli was cut from a different cloth, being a man the accomplished the aforementioned feats with ease, and Death Machines of London pays homage to the founding member of Moto Guzzi with their futurist Guzzi ‘Airforce’ build.

Beginning with a 1982 Moto Guzzi Le Mans Mk II that had been left to rot in a side yard, James Hilton and the crew at DMOL got to work by digging into the powertrain to find the donor motor was actually in great shape. After cleaning up the internals and repackaging the power plant, a modified pair of carbs were synced up, dressed in custom velocity stacks, which were then balanced by a set of straight headers for great airflow on both sides of the cylinder. The DMOL team then focused their attention to de-tabbing the chassis, heavily modifying the subframe, and extending the rake by 3-degrees to keep the ride looking smooth. An amazing set of hand-formed aluminum body panels and fuel tank were left raw and unfinished, playing up the WWI fighter plane appeal of the project.
