If you were asked to find a couple of dictionary examples for the word ‘hard’, putting a ship in a bottle and getting LEGO to accept one of your ideas would both be good picks. Yet somehow, LEGO Ideas member JakeSadovich77 managed to do both. Introducing the Lego Ideas Ship In A Bottle.

Within 48 days of submitting his proposal to LEGO Ideas (a platform run by the toy maker where users can propose designs for development by the brand), Jake Sadovich’s design got over 10,000 supporters. Now, a little over a year later, the design has come to life. Starting February 1st of this year, you will be able to pick this set up off the shelf. It features a detailed ship complete with cannons, masts, a crow’s nest, and captains quarters. The bottle itself has a buildable cork, water-like elements, and a stand with a non-working compass, nameplate, and globes.
