Yamaha’s TW200 is a great representation of this duality, and this is especially true of their latest 2018 model.

Slated for release this August, the sandy beige option is powered at heart by a 196cc air-cooled 4-stroke engine controlled by a constant-mesh 5-speed transmission. And because this beauty is in fact built for off-road cruising, it boasts a front suspension with 6.3-inches of travel and a single shock in the rear with 5.9-inches of travel. Combine that with heavy-duty fat tires, a low seat height designed for riders of all skills, and a convenient electric start, the TW200 is an affordable dual-sport bike that boasts an all-around enjoyable ride from the dirt to the pavement.
