2018 Triumph Speed Triple RS

Though probably most associated with the cafe racer movement, British motorcycle brand Triumph offers a wide range of bikes for everything from touring to street racing. And the latter category just got all the more enticing with the introduction of the brand’s new 2018 Speed Triple range.

The fastest streetfighter range Triumph has ever made, these bikes are equipped with an all-new monstrous 1050cc – capable of pumping out 150 horsepower and over 86 foot-pounds of torque. In fact, that engine boasts 104 performance improvements over the previous generation. The bikes are also loaded with some other very tasty features, including a ride-by-wire throttle for more instant and accurate response, five onboard selectable driving modes (rain, road, sport, track, and rider-customizable), and even come with a new-and-improved single-side swingarm that offers excellent handling stability and makes it easier to clean and change the rear tire. The RS version also includes a double-adjustable Ohlins fork and lightweight sports silencers to up the ante even further. These incredible street bikes can be yours sometime later this year.
