2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS
July’s first weekend was a big one for Porsche who, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK no less, released the fastest and most powerful street-legal 911 model ever. Dubbed the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS, this road and track-ready beast boasts both beauty and brawn.
First things first. Under the hood of this sports car is a 3.8 liter 700-horsepower twin-turbo flat-six engine. And as a lightweight two-seater, this speedy little ride hits 60mph from a standstill in just 2.7 seconds on its way to a top speed to 211 mph. The GT2 RS is also built upon a race-bred chassis complete with rear axle steering and rides atop ultra high-performance tires for an insanely dry grip. She also comes delivered with carbon fiber reinforced plastic fenders, outer shells, exterior mirrors, air intakes and rear quarter panels to keep things lightweight and agile as well. Inside the new Porsche is a sporty interior thanks to red Alcantara, black leather, and carbon fiber trim pieces rounding things out quite nicely as well. Additionally, buyers are gifted a limited edition Porsche Design 911 GT2 RS Chronograph with their purchase. Available now.
