When it comes to motorcycles, the classic look is best; however, you also want it beefed up with modern tech to get the best of both worlds. Inspired by the 1972 Kawasaki Z1 model, the new Z900RS is given the cafe racer treatment with its genuine retro styling, but it also comes equipped with modern, cutting-edge technology.
To achieve a vintage look, this bike has a cafe racer style front cowl, green rim stripes, a black finished drop-style handlebar, a low 32.3” cafe racer stepped seat and a tuned exhaust with a brushed image, delivering an iconic rumble, to complete that yesteryear aesthetic. When you take a seat, right in front of you is a high-tech multi-function LCD screen, sitting between bullet-shaped analogue dials that feature classic chrome bezels. Take it for a spin, and you’ll feel the power on the open road generated by a 948cc in-line four-cylinder engine, delivering over 110 horsepower. Making it an even more enjoyable ride, it also has a lightweight trellis frame, a race-inspired assist and slipper clutch and KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) that covers a wide range of riding conditions. This limited edition model is up for grabs now in vintage lime green and also comes in two other colorways that are not yet available in the U.S.
