For the past three years, Indian Motorcycles has partnered with Jack Daniel’s to crank out small batches of truly unique models inspired by the classic American whiskey maker. The story stays true for 2018 as Indian has just released their Scout Bobber in limited edition Jack Daniel’s trim, with this year’s bike paying homage to the volunteer firefighting department that keeps the legendary distillery safe.
Working off the base level Scout Bobber, the LE spec will utilize the standard 69 cubic inch V-Twin powerplant that pushes 100 hp and rolls on 72 lb•ft of torque. Customization begins with a never been done tone-on-tone matte black paint complemented by gloss black accents on the valve covers, levers, fender struts, and exhaust tips, giving the bike a fully blacked out look not seen on any other stock Indian. 24 karat gold striping adorns the tank and fenders, matching the gold logo embroidery on the saddle and the real 24K gold bike number badge cast by Montana Silversmith. Plenty of additional Jack Daniel’s logos dress up the Scout Bobber, making sure that anyone seeing one of the 177 units made will know exactly what type of whiskey the rider sips when not on the bike.
