Here it is folks, the highly anticipated release of the 2018 Ford Mustang has enthusiasts quite excited to say the least. However, while things may not be too different on the outside -just like anything else- it’s what’s on the inside that counts. And in the case of this sweet ride, it’s what’s under the hood that counts.

With this offering, Ford decided to ditch the standard V6 engine in favor of two buyer’s options. That is, either a 2.3L EcoBoost or 5.0L V8 engine. Exact output has yet to be released from Ford but they do promise the V8 will rev higher and quicker than previous iterations. As for the appearance, the biggest change here are the headlights, now more aggressive and deeply inset into the vehicle. Buyers will also get to enjoy one of the Mustang’s newest interior toys, a 12-inch instrument cluster offering Mustang’s first ever all-digital dashboard display. It’s optional but looks totally worth the investment. It also features premium trim leather seats, Sync Connect that allows you to track the ‘Stang via smartphone, a whole slew of safety features, and is available in three colors: Royal Crimson, Kona Blue, and Orange Fury. No word on pricing just yet. Slated to hit dealerships this Fall.
