Competition breeds improvement. Nowhere does that seem more apparent than in the car industry. Since Ford announced their latest Mustang earlier this year, it was only a matter of time for them to release info on the upgraded GT version. It seems that time has come, as they’ve just announced their quickest GT ever.

Loaded with a 5.2-liter V8 engine, this car is capable of pumping out 460 horsepower – up from this year model’s 435 and 5 over the Chevy Camaro SS. But that’s not even the best part. This upcoming GT includes what Ford is calling their Drag Strip mode – a driving configuration that, when combined with the optional Performance Pack, lets the car go from 0-60 in under 4 seconds. Another interesting addition, as well, is the optional 10-speed automatic transmission. There’s no pricing info, but we can expect to hear more soon.
