2018 Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak

Few bikes are capable of ripping through the twisties on pavement and equally eager to roost out of a berm on the dirt. Ducati has been a master of this market with the development of their Multistrada line, and this year’s 1260 Pikes Peak is a stands tall amongst giants.

Getting a facelift over previous year models, the Multistrada is now going by the 1260 moniker, and the Pikes Peak version has all the bells and whistles you could throw at the Italian moto. Building off features standard on the three lesser 1260s, the Pikes Peak stands sturdy on Öhlins suspension for a plush ride and rolls off the showroom floor with a Termignoni exhaust system already mounted. A beautiful set of tri-spoke wheel are controlled by oversize Brembo ABS calipers and discs to get you stopped in a hurry. Trim includes swapping various body parts for carbon fiber and a low windscreen to put just a touch of beauty on this beast.
