The Aston Martin Vanquish, in its current form, has been on the market for some time now -since 2012 to be exact. A year later, in 2013 the British auto company released a drop-top version of the Vanquish which obviously turned out to be a hit in the petrol community. Now, they’re taking it one step further, releasing an upgraded trim -dubbed the ’S’ version- that boasts some enhanced performance specs.

Also included in this lot are several new design elements purposed to increase the vehicle’s aerodynamic properties, such as a carbon fiber splitter and diffuser, and quad exhausts. Accompanying these enhancements is an upgraded version of the 6.0-liter V12 engine that now pushes 580hp. The interior also boasts some improvements as well, including a Satin Chopped Carbon Fiber Fascia panel and high-end leather throughout. It’ll cost you a cool $18,000 more than the standard fixed top version with prices starting at $315,775 and a release date set for this April. Just in time for summer.
