Traffic is the absolute worst; it eats up huge chunks of our day, brings out the worst in people, and just generally makes life less enjoyable. And that’s one of the big reasons the folks at Samson Motorworks have made their Switchblade – a luxury sports car that transforms into a private jet.

Believe it or not, this 5-speed 190 HP 3-wheeler is completely street legal when in car mode – with the same power-to-weight ratio as a Chevy Corvette. That means you can drive it swiftly to-and-fro on the daily without breaking any laws. But you can also push a button to extend the vehicle’s wings and tail, turning the Switchblade into a flying machine – a process that takes just 3 minutes. It can also hit a top speed of 125 MPH in car mode, 190 MPH in the air, features redundant fuel and ignition systems to keep you safe, and even has a fully featured interior (with leather seats, A/C and heating, and a premium sound system). Contact Samson for information on pricing and availability.
