Freshly unveiled at this year’s EICMA show comes a step up in the Ducati Scrambler line from the previously released Scrambler 800. Yup, you guessed it, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 that’s slated to compete with the likes of Triumph, Honda, and Yamaha’s equivalent offerings.

Under the saddle here is a formidable engine upgrade – specifically a 1079cc L-Twin that’s a derivative of what powers the Monster 1100. All told, the new 1100 boasts an output of 86 hp and 65 ft-lbs of torque. Also available with the new lineup comes a full tech upgrade from Bosch that includes three ride modes, traction control, and a full ride-by-wire system. It features a full Trellis frame, an aluminum subframe at the rear, a 3.9-gallon fuel tank, and is available in three different versions: 1100, 1100 Special, and 1100 Sport depending on experience and intended use. All of which, however, boast the same seek and clean design along with that classically cool scrambler stance.
