For as much as we get all worked up about the newest technical gear coming to market – there is some wisdom in older designs. Point in case, the Jago Xeno Jacket.

This tough outer layer was inspired by jackets worn by both WWII fighter pilots and the famous mountaineer Sir Edmund Hillary on the summit of Everest. It employs the use of a tough Ventile fabric that is windproof, warm, breathable, and water resistant. To enhance the natural capabilities of this jacket’s shell, Jago included underarm stretch panelling, elastic along the cuffs and bottom hem, and constructed the sleeves to be more articulated. The Xeno also features slant welt pockets in the front, two zippered breast pockets, and a snap and zip front closure to keep wind out and warmth in. These jackets come in three different colors and are handmade in England to last through all kinds of adventures.
