Timberland 1978 Hiking Boots

The 1970s had their fair share of corny looks. But not everything was polyester and bell bottoms. If it was, we wouldn’t be nearly as excited about Timberland’s limited edition 1978 Hiking Boots.

These leather hikers from the famed boot maker use the same exact design as the brand’s first pair from the late 1970s – but with the added benefit of modern technology. That means that the full-grain leather upper on the boots is paired with Timber-Dry, Timberland’s proprietary waterproof technology. In addition to the tough (and attractive) leather upper with gusseted tongue, the boots feature a Vibram outsole for traction on slippery and loose surfaces. And as if all that anti-wet tech wasn’t enough, the hardware along the boot’s upper is made to be totally rustproof. This silhouette will only be available for a short amount of time – so you better get to them before the wet weather gets to you.

Purchase: $250
