Feastform Titanium Cooking Tools

The less weight you’re carrying with you on a backpacking trip, the better off you are. That, at least in part, is why these grade-5 titanium cooking tools from Feastform are so cool.

Not only are they built to resist corrosion and hard use out in the backcountry, but the tongs and small spatula weigh just 60 and 45-grams respectively. That means less energy spent lugging unnecessarily hefty gear along the trail with you. And to make sure they don’t take up too much space, the tongs are designed to nest into one another. For additional comfort and protection, the spatulas (both large and small) in this collection are wrapped with a heat resistant technora 950 chord, the same material used in the Mars Rover parachute. In addition to just being hard as nails, these American made cooking utensils have a distinctive look to them. According to designers Ben Bangser and Jesse Kruska, the inspiration for the folded, angular look of the cooking tools came in large part from origami. Who would’ve thought a couple of American’s could beat Snow Peak at their own game?
