No matter how you slice it, electric bikes are here to stay. And even if you’re a petroleum-fueled devotee, there are some options out there worth considering – if only for an appreciation of how far we’ve come thus far. The HPC Revolution X is one such option, serving as the flagship model for Los Angeles- based Hi-Power Cycles.

At the core of this high-wattage ride is a hand built 6061-T6 aluminum frame along with CNC aluminum bottom brackets, headtube, swingarm, seat tube, and shock mounts – all machined right here in the USA. Additionally, the Revolution X comes standard with a 5,000W electric engine and the option of a 6000W upgrade that’ll help this sweet ride top out at 60 mph. It’s also equipped with a 203mm travel RockShox Boxxer World Cup Fork and a Vivid R2C Air shock that provides over 9 inches of travel. Clearly, the Revolution X was designed with off-road utility in mind – built from the ground up and available now.

Purchase: $11,500
