Two of our favorite pastimes during the summer are hitting the trails and getting out on the water. But, all too often, we have to pick one or the other, because carrying gear for both just isn’t that easy. Thanks to Klymit, however, that’s all going to change, as they’ve created an ultra-light inflatable called the LiteWater Dinghy Packraft.

Made with a maneuverable arrow-shaped design and with input from pro kayakers and packrafters, this collapsible raft is ideal for backcountry canoeing. It’s also built from a sturdy and lightweight 210D ripstop polyester. But what’s really special about this watercraft is that it weighs a grand total of just 35 ounces and can fold down into a dry pack that’s 4×9″ – which is about the same size as a softball. That means you can bring it with you on a hike, pull it out and inflate it when you get to a river crossing, and pack it right back up again on the other side. And thanks to a dual valve design, it inflates and deflates quickly and easily. You can get your hands on this superb hiking-friendly inflatable raft for $125.

Purchase: $125
