In a brilliant yet powerful manner, Ducati has effectively marked the end of an era in releasing the final round of V2 bikes before they’re replaced with the new V4 generation. The bike in question? The aptly named Panigale R Final Edition, a street-legal superbike that’s a blend of their advanced monocoque chassis with their powerful Superquadro engine.

Debuted just this past weekend, this release closes the door on Ducati twins. And believe us, the Final Edition isn’t without some serious perks. The bike sports a Tricolore paint job resembling the Italian flag and boasts a 90-degree V-twin with modified cylinder heads and camshafts that produce 209 hp and 104.7 lb-ft of torque. The new Panigale R also comes complete with a race electronics package including preset riding, power modes, engine braking, wheelie control, and adjustable traction among others and rides atop Marchesini aluminum wheels, sports a set of Öhlins NIX30 forks, and Brembo Monobloc brake calipers. No word on pricing just yet but each bike is slated to a numbered collectible model if that gives you any indication of the price point.
