adidas Laceless UltraBOOST

adidas has never been afraid of fixing things that aren’t broken. They frequently go back and update old-school silhouettes like the Stan Smith – giving them everything from fresh colorways to updated upper materials. It was maybe to be expected, then, that adidas would roll out something like the new Laceless UltraBOOST.

This newest silhouette is the perfect illustration of why less really is more. While the sneaker still features the famously comfortable Boost mid, grippy Continental outsole, and eye-catching Primeknit upper – what really sets it apart is the absence of laces. The German shoemaker opted instead for the use of a forged Primeknit band integrated around the mid-foot. This choice results in a much cleaner look that more prominently highlights the famous upper material. More than just looking great, this new technology promises an even more comfortable shoe. According to adidas, the band allows for a closer, more harmonious fit with your foot. Look for these online and in stores starting the 1st of September.

Purchase: $200
