Hoodies are supposed to keep you warm, not outlast your death. Apparently no one told that to Vollebak. The London-based extreme outfitter has been hard at work the past two years developing what they’re calling the 100 Year Hoodie.

And no, they’re not exaggerating when they say 100 years. Made with a special Kevlar fabric, this sweatshirt is engineered to withstand 2,000 washes, 4,000 wears, and 100 accidents. The latter was demonstrated by the brand took a day out of their busy schedule to try and rip their creation to shreds. They put a blow torch to it, towed it behind a motorcycle, and even threw it in the ocean without putting so much as a scratch on the thing. More than just rugged, this jacket is a pleasure to wear. The interior of the quarter-zip sweater boasts a fleece-like texture that has a soft, cushioned feel to it that’ll keep you comfortable until your dying day. Literally. You can pick one up in either charcoal or a natural pale yellow.

Purchase: $295
