What do you do when you’re a car manufacturer that sells some of the fastest and most powerful production vehicles on the market? Well, you combine them of course into one raging track-ready machine. In this case, it’s the all new 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody – complete with a few nods to the ever-popular Dodge Demon.

The main difference here from previous iterations of the Hellcat is indeed the wider body thanks to the flares from the Demon that add about 3.5 inches of overall width to the new Hellcat. Why? Because now the 2018 powerhouse now boasts enough room for some large 20” x 11” Devil’s Rim aluminum wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero performance tires. This upgrade, combined with the Hellcat’s 707 HP 6.2 liter supercharged V8 HEMI, allows for a 0-60mph time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 194 mph – quicker than the Demon no less. Additionally, the new Hellcat hosts a nuanced electric power steering system outfitted to improve handling along with several driving modes. Deliveries are slated for later this year. Prices start at $71,500.
