For those who are not familiar, Nerf’s Rival line of foam-shooting toy guns are some of their most aggressive and, coincidentally, most badass products in their entire lineup. Not only do they shoot pellets rather than the clunky and not particularly aerodynamic sucker-tipped foam darts, but they also generally shoot at a higher velocity than their brethren. The king of them all, however, was the Nerf Rival Atlas. It could fire up to 70 miles per hour. And now, they’ve improved upon it.
This new and similarly styled version, the Nemesis MXVII-10K, can still fire those same foam darts at velocities up to 70 mph, but it has something its predecessor did not: a 100 round ammo hopper. Working much in the same way as hoppers on paintball guns work, this addition uses gravity to feed ammunition into the firing mechanism for quick and hands-free reloading between shots. This Nerf gun is also fully-automatic, thanks to a 6 D-sized or one Rival brand battery powered flywheel system. Available this fall for $100. [H/T: Gizmodo]
