While most people think of Volvo as a family-friendly vehicle brand and little else, it looks like they’ve begun to take some pretty big steps toward changing that perception – especially in regards to style. Their latest vehicle to get a much-needed redux is the Volvo XC60 SUV. And, we must say, they’ve done a brilliant job of it.

Having been redesigned from the ground-up, there are many changes to this 2017 version of Volvo’s SUV, but there are a few specifics worth noting. For starters, the exterior’s lines have been tightened up for a much more sleek look. That includes a pair of sleek new LED headlights with Active High Beam technology. The brand is also offering your choice of diamond-cut wheels to add a bit of customization to this car. The interior also incorporates reclaimed driftwood, hand-stitched leather, a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, and easy-to-use dashboard touch screen controls. Best of all, this vehicle works with Volvo’s On-Call app – which allows you to check fuel levels, lock & unlock, and preheat the cabin of your vehicle all from your smartphone. More details, including price, are to be announced soon.
