2017 Volvo V90 Cross Country
That’s a wrap. Earlier this week Volvo released the first specs and images for the final edition in their 90 series with a take on the manufacturer’s more popular crossover/station wagon-influenced vehicle, the Cross Country. It features a slightly altered appearance while paying homage to the original V90 wagon.
For those interested, expect a wider, taller and all around more husky version of the V90, mainly in the realm of outdoor capabilities. Featuring a large comfortable interior, a 60-millimeter lift, and all-new tires better suited of off-road excursions, it’s the camping-friendy cousin in the 90 series. The electronic chassis also handles the off-road experience with confidence and rear air-suspension, eight-speed gear box and massaging seats ensure you get to whatever destination you have in mind with ease. Volvo hasn’t released a whole lot of information on the vehicle’s powerplant but it’s safe to say it’ll follow in the footsteps of the previous V90. Production of the crossover begins this fall.
