2017 Ram Rebel 1500 Black Edition

By itself, the Ram 1500 is enough to satiate any off-road gearhead around. Add a bit of darkness into the mix, however, and you’ll have Ram fans drooling at the thought of driving one. At least that’s the motivation behind the 2017 Rebel, acting as meaner, darker sibling to the Ram family. I mean hey, it’s about time we show the black sheep some love.

Under the hood, Dodge offers buyers a choice between a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 or a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 depending on the desired use (along with the option for both 4×4 and 2-wheel drivetrains). Whatever they choose, however, each Rebel still rides atop a set of standard 33-inch off-road tires and an air suspension. This, of course, is alongside the truck’s iconic black grille, meatier fender flares, darkened wheels, completely blacked-out interior, and brush guard. The seats are heated and embroidered, can be done up in Katskin leather, and a series of gray accents in the cabin bring this black on black Rebel to life. The price? Surprisingly reasonable starting at $46,910 and they’re slated to hit the dealerships this March.
