The Mercedes-Benz S-Class has long been a favorite of ours, and next year the German auto maker is chopping the top on their flagship model with the 2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet.

The first open top luxury 4-seater from Benz since 1971, this Cabriolet is sure to be hit among current and potential owners. The vehicle is gearing up for a spring 2016 release, and will be available in two different trims: a 4.7-liter V8 S500 and the beastly S63 AMG Cabriolet, powered by a 5.5-liter biturbo V8 packing 577 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. These numbers help the top-tier model sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 186 mph. The big body 2-door is also outfitted with 4MATIC all-wheel drive, AIRMATIC air suspension and an AMG Speed-Shift 7-speed transmission for butter smooth shifting.
