Mazda kicked off the spring by appropriately announcing their brand new convertible MX-5 RF. If these things preform as well as its older brother – the 2016 Mx-5, you can expect to see more than a few of them zooming around this summer.
As far as design goes – this is just about what you’d expect from a Mazda with one big exception – its targa hardtop flips back in a complex and spectacular fashion. This model weighs just about 110 pounds more than the hardtop model, features a few design tweaks on the body, but still has the same 155 horsepower 2-liter Skyactive engine. You can grab yourself one of these slightly more upscale Miatas starting this summer when they are expected to sell between $25,000 and $31,000.
