Sports utility vehicle lovers unite. Maserati just announced their plan to unveil their first SUV, the Levante, at this year’s Geneva International Motor Show. As a century-old brand, releasing their first SUV is a big deal, and Maserati expects this release to excite collectors in the industry.  Featuring an aggressive front with tapered headlights, and a streamlined shape throughout, the Levante falls in line with Maserati’s sports car aesthetic.

The chassis supports both high-performance on-road handling and an excellent off-road ride for the driver. All versions feature a sophisticated electronic suspension, “Q4” intelligent all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission. Maserati has plans to unveil detailed specs (including powerplant) on March 1st with official launch to be held this spring in Europe, followed later this year by the rest of the world.
