2017 Ford F-150 Raptor SuperCrew
For those times when the standard Raptor just won’t suffice, Ford’s 2017 F-150 Raptor SuperCrew edition is more than ready for the challenge.
With a wheelbase that’s six inches wider than the base F-150 (145 inches in all), this thing has increased in size while at the same time decreasing in weight. The vehicle has dropped about 500 pounds, and is equipped with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 power plant that will make at least 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque – based on the numbers of the old 6.2-liter V8 – but we’re expecting more. There are six different driving modes drivers can choose from, and the new 10-speed transmission increases efficiency and maximizes torque while providing butter smooth shifting. Other updates to the off-road performance truck include Fox Racing Shox, off-road BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires and a dual exhaust system. While we don’t know exact pricing details yet, you can expect the new SuperCrew Raptor to hit Ford showrooms in the Fall of 2016.
