2017 DeLorean DMC-12 ‘Lucky Coin’ Commercial

Feb 4, 2016

Category: Rides

We got word about the DeLorean’s return in late January, and now just a little over a week later, the independent car manufacturer based out of Texas has released it’s first commercial for the DMC-12.

The commercial, directed by Alexander Alexandrov, features a man somewhere in the desert driving his DeLorean around the in all of its retro glory. Despite being from the 80s, the director does a really great job highlighting the car’s futuristic aspirations. These cars will be made true to the originals – with pre-existing parts and all – updated with modern day tech, of course. 300 of the DMC-12’s will be rolling of the line in 2017 with a sticker-price of $100,000.
