The Bugatti name is synonymous with fantastic engineering and unreal performance for a reason. For over 100 years now the company has been releasing amazing vehicles, and with the announcement of the brand new Chiron, they show absolutely no sign of stopping. The follow up to the beloved Veyron is as scary-fast as it is expensive.

The 2017 Bugatti Chiron is hands down the fastest and most powerful street legal car ever made. The all-wheel drive vehicle comes equipped with an 8.0-liter quad turbo W16 motor that can pump out 1,478 horsepower through a seven speed clutch transmission. Producing 1,180 pound-feet of torque, it can hit 62 miles per hour in just 2.5 seconds on the way to its top speed of 261 mph. The interior is outfitted with leather, carbon fiber, brushed aluminum, and features the first airbag deploy system to break through a carbon-fiber dash. Don’t get your hopes up too much – only 500 of these cars will be made and they’ll be hitting dealers with a price tag of $2.6 million. [Purchase]
