As far as grand tourers go, Bentley continues to push the limit in terms of speed and power behind traditional sedans. So what would the first couple weeks of 2017 be without the English car manufacturer wowing us once again? This time, it’s with their Continental Supersports, now recognized as the world’s fastest four-seater.
It’s a bold statement indeed, though when you host a turbocharged 6-liter port injection W12 engine putting out 700 bhp and 750 lb.ft of torque you have a reason to brag. All this power allows the Supersports to top out at 209mph and earn a 0-60mph time of just 3.4 seconds. It’s all thanks to new high-performance turbos and a torque vectoring system that results in a luxury sedan that’s both powerful and agile behind the wheel. Inside the Supersports sedan is a bespoke steering wheel, customized gear lever, and an interior plush with diamond-quilted Alcantara seats and door panels. Buyer’s can also opt for the convertible option as well, depending on their style and local climate of course. For more information be sure to check out their site. Prices are yet to be released.
