Across Southern California this week reputable car brands from around the world continue to convene at the Los Angeles Convention Center at this year’s Auto Show. So far, we’ve seen some wild builds unveiled, this futuristic batmobile-esque supercar notwithstanding. Introducing the newest Mono edition from UK-based Briggs Automotive Company.
The power behind the BAC Mono is contagious, as this beast hosts a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine pushing out 305bhp and up 227lb-ft of peak torque for the lucky passenger. They’ll also hit 60mph from a standstill in 2.8 seconds thanks to an incredible power to weight ratio of 525 horsepower per ton. The Mono also features a five-stage traction control, intelligent launch control, and switchable auto upshift. Additional weight reduction is achieved as well thanks to an electronic parking brake while the Mono’s wide chassis increases cockpit space for the driver. It’s a highly sought after vehicle that’s been shipped to over 28 countries thus far, including the US, and this newest release looks to only increase the Mono’s allure among serious collectors. No word on pricing just yet.
