Recently Aston Martin unveiled its latest aquatic endeavor, a powerboat. And if you’re assuming the British car manufacturer outdid themselves this go-around then you’d be correct. It’s called the AM37, and this powerboat is a plush and luxurious as you would come to expect from Aston Martin.
For this project AM worked with naval architects at Mulder Design, outfitting the boat with two inboard engines offering the base model top speeds of 51 mph. However, if that’s not enough for you the AM37S trim boasts twin Mercury 520hp V8 engines for an extra boost. It features a carbon fiber cockpit cover, a salt water flushing head, fridge, and coffee maker. The dash is also carbon fiber with polished controls to boot. It measures 37 feet in length, hosts cabin air conditioning, a lavatory, microwave oven, and the table in the galley transforms into a comfortable bed for overnight stays. The AM37 also can fit up to 8 passengers in the boat’s elegant rear seating area. No word on pricing since it was just released, but we’re sure it’ll make their cars look highly affordable in comparison.
