Recreational Vehicles, or RVs, are pretty vanilla as far as road-going campers are concerned. They’re not too fancy and are just capable enough to get a few people and their gear to those barely-off-the-road campsites. But that’s about the end of it. Adventure Vehicles, like the ones made by Tiger, are different beasts entirely. Like their namesake, they are exotic, rugged, and viciously capable. And their largest model, the Siberian, also happens to be our favorite.

Created to traverse the most rugged of terrain, this adventure vehicle is built upon the chassis of either a Ford F550 or Ram 5500, depending on buyer’s preference. Without the addition of a generator, the Siberian is electrically powered by a 900 amp-hours worth of maintenance-free AMG batteries alongside 600 watts of solar power. This all-diesel platform also features a furnace, water heater, and stove top. Other amenities across its large open floor plan include a microwave, dry bath, porcelain toilet, air conditioners, and a king or queen-sized bed. The Siberian starts at $248,500 with optional upgrades for an added fee. [Purchase]
