After three years of successfully making fully functioning espresso pod brewers that look like Formula 1 racing engines, designer and engineer Paolo Mastrogiuseppe decided to move onto a completely different configuration. His newest release, the Aviatore Veloce, is in the shape of a prototype military jet engine, making both espresso and tea through a high pressure brewing system.
Built from of a combination of aviation grade aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and aluminum bronze, this brewer looks complex and maybe even menacing – but it is completely user friendly. After plugging the 61 pound beast in, all you have to do is slide open the back, pour in some purified water, drop some freshly ground coffee into the filter, slide the machine shut, and choose between a small or medium cup of espresso. These things are made in limited number, and prices are available only on serious request. [Purchase]
